About The Lewis Worrell Family
WELCOME TO MY FAMILY SITE
My name is Veronica Gwendolyn Worrell. I became interested in Genealogy in 1986 while lecturing on Genetics to student nurses at the Hertfordshire College of Health Care Studies. Fulfilling a promise I had made myself at that time, I am now undertaking a project on my Family Tree.
Some information was obtained from an in -law who is well acquainted with the methods of researching genealogy and compiling family trees. Useful help came from recalling memories of information passsed on to me by older realtives during my childhood and researching them through the Barbados Archives, also recently from close and distant relatives who were willing to co-operate.
If you have any information you believe would help me to complete this enormous task, please do contact me. I will be delighted to hear from you. Please acknowledge your visit to the site by signing the guest book.
The Lewis/Worrell family originated from various countries e.g. Ancestors from Africa,England, Wales and Barbados. A new generation is now growing up In England,America and Canada.
This web site belongs to Veronica Gwendolyn Worrell nee Lewis. It is designed to look at the family tree of several generations up to the present time and also to be updated in the future by my son Mark Worrell. The present generations to be researched are Harris Cozier Gilkes Leacock Lewis and Worrell and any links the research throws up.
